I am always mumbling to myself that design publications are perfect candidates for digital archiving of some kind. Communication Arts has done a weekly exhibit, which uses the web to refresh content faster than it can be published in print. But it hasn't addressed the fact that its back issues take over your house. One Art Director I work with said, "We can't move again. I have too many CAs" But it hasn't yet undertaken an archiving project.
A web site CA featured in its interactive annual has undertaken one, though. The AIGA web site has a breezy archive that causes no bookcases to sag, no mailmen to grouse, and no trees to die.
Talk to yourself long enough, and things get done.
